This building at the corner of SE 1st and A was evidently built in 1946. It saw a string of grocery stores, until attorney Jack Brown moved in in 1961. 57 years later, the Jack Brown Law Center is still operating! Very impressive.

The bail bond business facing SE 1st was always advertised as an apartment for rent, no businesses there prior to 1969.
