All of this history doesn’t come free. My research comes mostly from newspapers.com, at a cost of $150.00 per year. I’d like to subscribe to a second newspaper source, which would fill in the holes at newspaper.com’s archives, but can’t yet afford to do so. Then there are web hosting costs, purchases of historical books and artifacts, and oddball expenses here and there.
